That's right. Bollywood music composers copied many songs in American popular music. This occured from early as the 1960s with R.D Burman, the 1980s with Bappi Lahari, and in the 1990s with Nadeem-Sharvan. There are so many to list because music composers either took the entire songs or parts of them.
