Currently I am suing a Samson stage V266 it’s an ok microphone it range it’s about 250 ft away in clear view to the main unit. If it’s behind my facade which is made of all wood it starts t break up about 150 ft. I wouldn’t recommend cause I wouldn’t want to put you in the same situation I am in. Looking to upgrade to shure. Don’t know which one as of yet. Don’t get me wrong it still work well for small event out door back yard party and small banquet rooms.
The one thing ANY good DJ whose been around for a while will tell you is "a bad mic will make for a bad night", trust me, been there done that... EMBARRASSING...That's why I use Shure BLX wireless system, not the cheapest nor the "best" but it is incredibly reliable for the price.
