What Do You Think Of The CD's Of 2010 So Far?

It's June so half of the year is dun, what CDs disappointed you & wich CDs lived up to yur expectations?

For me the best CD I herd da dropped so far had to go to Dulha Dulahin by Jhingree, Flashback was good as well but da tracks selected dint cooperate wid my ears lol. Disappointments... dint have too many, altho Sizzlin' Bollywood and Fresh & Ripe turned us in da direction of new hindi music I tink Sunil & Mastah X shud of stuck wid oldies.

 

This first half the year we have seen many great things happen.

- the rise of BigShatEnt as an established remix label. They have been dropping goood cds lately, Bottoms Up And Dulaha&Dulahin, Indiflo Flashback, Lets Disco By Stylistic, as well as DJ Sunil ! Thumbs Up To BigShatEnt !

- DJ Sunil is here to take over. This man has started of 2010 with such a bang, it isnt even possible to compete with this guy. Any genre you name it, oldies indian, new indian, reggae, soca, country songs, hip hop, EVERYTHING !
He has released over 12 cds in this 6 month timespan & we'll hopefully see more of him.

-Big Up the Djs with the old school reggae this half of the year. Bedtime stories, 24-7, passion, burning love.
Bringing back the great yellow, gregory isaacs, and tradewinds.

-A new direction in the 2010 chutney genre. We've seen dejoint and kbis dedicate more to their chutney cds, and mr.stylistic pioneering in making these cds. Catch Meh lovah Revised, Madhouse, Dhal rice & bajee, Fairground.
Other djs like dj shiva, backyard sounds, doing it big with the new chutney !

-We've seen the emergence of iREMiX, a young remix label proving there is more to mixing, then just mixing indian songs. These djs have remixed the best of the new pop music out there, hats off to you guys !

There has been several dissappointments this year, the slowly decline of KBIS in my mind, they just dont make cds like they used to anymore, Dejoint & BigShat is taking over for the new decade !

Look out for Four Aces & Summerslam By Mr.Stylistic, Vp Premier, && THE RETURNING CARIBBEAN SPICE.

they can do bether then 2009 and bring out more cd`s this year with the new songs

 

Would love to more of the new songs cds but they simply don't, how could i put it Sell Good.
Anyway just a scoop for the massive, Dejoint is done at the end of 2010. Time to move on a do something else. The Business is in good hands KBIS and Big Shat will keep bringing the Hits.
