I was reorganising the layout of my dj system, and while plugging back in the connection from the amp to the speakers, i noticed that there were two 'slots' where i could plug in the connection - and the two slots appear excatly the same (size) etc. Can someone please explain to me why there are two? When seemingly both cannot be used at the same time..

Below is a link to the speakers if it helps (and no-one cuss cos my djing is more of a hobby and get bigger sound systems for when i dj in halls etc)

  2. those are 6.35mm ports. one of them is the input for the signal line and another one is the output to bridge it to another speaker.

so then.. if i wanted to, its possible to lets say have 3 speakers playing at any one time despite the amp only having two outputs?
Oh and i presume it doesnt matter which one i use for the signal right?

  4. usually the top one is the input and the bottom is the output. connect 2 of your speakers to your amp.. one left one right.. and bridge your 3rd from another speaker.

Thanks for that - i might do that one day when i upgrade my amp (i bought the amp with the speakers so the amp outputs 100W each side and the Speakers are 100W each) . Im already splitting the signal from the mixer to hook up my 30W Sub to my system for a lil bass.. Whats the chances it'll screw up the amp or something else if i do it?

  6. depends on the amp. get powered speakers next time

suggestion: mackie tops with cerwin vega scoops

so powered speakers = inbuilt amp?

And how much does your suggestion cost (you can tell me in dollars and i'll convert it)

  8. approx 5g's tax included
