My Gemini XGA-5000 blew out on me a few days ago and can't figure out why. I've changed fuse and soon as I powered on amp, fuse blew again. I don't no nothing about electrical or fuses. Can someone help me out with any kind of solutions or has anyone had or have same problem? Let me no please. Need help badly. Thank you.

    Taken from owners manual:

Fuse blows immediately--->Speaker load impedance is too low OR type or rating of fuse is not correct

Solution--->Check for shorts on the outputs, Check speaker impedance, Check that the fuse type is the correct rating.

Since it happened randomly and was working previously, I would probably rule out the speaker impedance. The fuse you replaced it with, was it the same rating? Could be the shorts on the outputs. Maybe disconnect the outputs and add a new fuse and see if that works.

Possibly could be an internal short circuit in the speaker?

I checked wires, connections from speaker to amp and amp to my dj setup and everything looks good from what I can see! As far as fuse goes, fuse inside fuse box says (5JF10AL250v), underneath fuse box on amp says (AC 115v/240v) and owners manual says (AC 115/230v 50-60 Hz) so I don't no actual fuse or voltage to replace with. When I did finally find fuses (after calling 3 different stores and only finding new fuses that were close to blown fuse voltage) were (750mA 250v/125v) and that blew soon as I powered amp on! So any suggestions or no where I could find any of the 3 I fuses I mentioned above at cuz I can't find any of the sizes anywhere and I've called audio and sound repair stores, sound companies, car audio places, walmart, auto zone and home depot was only place that anything close to size n voltage. Thank you for time and knowledge to bro! I really really appreciate all of it bro.

Pretty sure thats the fuse you need. Put the fuse in and try it without speakers connected. Then connect the speakers and see what happens.
