Hi, i just downloaded Mac OS Lion from the internet (not the app store) and i want to install it, but i dont know how. im very new to mac's and i want erase/format my current hard drive so i can install Lion. I tried booting from CD but it didnt work. I have a Macbook pro 13".Can someone help me please? Thanks
There are two different releases, there the update one that just updates your 10.6.8 mac os x, and then theres the bootable img one. You need the bootable img one. Btw, if you're using serato, serato is not yet compatible with Mac OS X Lion, so becareful with that.
Create a bootable disc... i would recommend u partition your drive an install lion on the partition.. until serato and other programs are compatable
Ok guys, now I REALLY fu*ked up. I solved my problem of putting a new portion of OS LION on, but after a few hours my keyboard stopped working and I googled the problem ad it's common that that will happen because of updating softwares. So just 2 hours ago I formatted my mac and tried putting snow Leo. 10.6.3 back and it said the install can't be complete. Now I can't use the Mac because there is No OS on it can I can't install snow leopard. Can someone PLEASE help me on this?! thanks guys, now i've fixed my problem and ran into another one. i installed snow leopard onto my external HD and i cant install it onto my internal hard drive. what do i do? ALL my problems are solved, thanks for the help guys!
Is it that serato is just not supported because I have seen posts where they say they get it to install but not stable when using it.
serato installs but there are compatibility issues, just don't use searto on lion until they release an update.
