    1) open your iTunes and go to the Edit option.
    2) From there choose "Preferences".
    3) Another box will open over your iTunes player.
    4) Click the "Advanced" tab.
    5) Once you're inside the Advanced tab, click the tab "Burning".
    6) You'll see "CD Burner, Preferred Speed and Disc Format"
    7) To the right of Disc Format (and slightly down one) you will see "Gap Between Songs"
    8) Click the drag down box next to "Gap Between Songs" and select NONE
    9) Hit OK and you're good to go!

On the topic of burning CD's to MP3 , always use the HIGHEST bit rate for better sound quality.

yes, always use the highest bit rate which is 320kbs, and don't use variable bit rate. Variable bit rate will kill some of the
high pitch of the songs. If you use Variable bit rate, take a look while the song is playing, it goes up and down as low
as 92kbs in certain parts of the song.
ALWAYS use CONSTANT bit rate at 320kbs. That's the best MP3 files have.

Dumb ass, of course MP3 files have a lower quality than wav or flac, but that's the trade off for the file size, plus, unless you are gifted
with special ears, you can't hear the difference with 320kbs and wav. Learn about sound and the human ears before you post, PLEASE!

Audacity can be used as well to remove gaps in a track.

There is a free open source program called CdBurnerXP, don't mind the name, it works well on Win 10 as well.
