Amitabh Bachchan - Hanuman Chalisa. As the superstar of Bollywood turned 69, he has gone a little spiritual and devotional by singing Hanuman Chalisa in his voice. Mr. Amitabh Bachchan has sung Hanuman Chalisa for a devotional album, which has been produced jointly by Veecon Music and Entertainment, along with his company AB Corp. The album, which is unique in itself, has been composed by music director Adesh Shrivastava and has 21 different singers including Mr. Amitabh Bachchan lending their voice to the Hanuman Chalisa. Apart from Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, the album contains the voice of some of the top names in Bollywood playback singing like Hariharan, Sonu Nigam, Abhijeet, Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, Shaan, Kailash Kher, Prasoon Joshi, Kay Kay, Sukhvinder Singh, Shankar Mahadevan, Kunal Ganjawala and Vinod Rathod. When the name of Mr Amitabh Bachchan or his company AB Corp gets linked to any event, it automatically makes the event turn big and this audio launch was no different. Apart from Mr Amitabh Bachchan’s own family members like his wife Jaya Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, this audio launch of Hanuman Chalisa album was also attended by some big celebrities like Yash Chopra, Ila Arun, Ramesh Sippy, Ramesh Taurani, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Prakash Jha and Sameer. Amitabh Bachchan had earlier made a post on his blog about this audio release, where he had said, “I had sung Hanuman Chalisa under music direction of Adesh Shrivastava and along with 20 other singers of the industry.
