Akami Netsession Interface.?? [What is It?]

Any one got any ideas what did does?
i was going through and uninstalling sh!t i dont use anymore, and just saw it.
Nvr was there befor. and when i click Uninstall.
it says. it might stop webistes from working.
is that bull shit and sumthin to get rid of or i need??

 

If you wish to uninstall this application you can do so, it will not affect anything at all. It is just a warning that all computers give as a precaution.
