Both, notebooks are good for on the go but desktops are more powerful.

I rather a Notebook, Because it comes in handy, It's easy to transport to and from school.
Hardly takes up any space or desk space. Can also be carried to class or library for note-taking, study, etc.
Also if wireless network is available, adding a wireless card provides easy access to college network and Internet in many locations. But if you are into Gaming, Graphic Design, Mixing etc, I would recommend you get a DESKTOP.

this post makes the most sense.

Situational, laptop if you are in school or need to travel often, desktop if you are like me and have nowhere to go , but to sit at home and download shit and play games.

I like laptops cuz theyre portable and w.e., but it scares me when it gets hot after a while lol. my friend said she was using hers and it caught on fire lolll...so she had to throw hers in the bathtub. as for my situation, i realized i didnt really need my laptop because its not like i take it anywhere, so i gave it to my bro and asked for a desktop. its not really of much use to me. i just dont feel comfortable mixing songs with the desktop tho. dont know why lol. but at the end of the day, as long as you have some sort of access to the internet then no prob lol.

desktops have better performance, upgradable, alot more powerful, etc
laptops have limited performance, only good for their mobility

id choose desktop over laptop, any day
