First thing I want to address, the title says talent I'm not basing this poll on the success of an artist that made one song and got to the top. Secondly, I didn't put Kanchan or Sundar Popo because if I can put it in a good term they are the "pioneers" of chutney and the main focus of this poll is talent but at the same time the focus is on the next generation, the people that got passed the "torch" and helped kept it lit. To besides if I put Sundar and Kanchan in there we already know the majority of the Mastahpiece nation will vote on those two.
Now the poll doesn't have every single chutney artist but those that when you hear their voice you can automatically tell who it is, at the same time made songs that got parties started as well as ended.

**WARNING** If anybody suggests I put Hunter in this poll I'm coming to your house and raping your mom. If you think that a guy singing bout how he wants rum in the morning 100 times in a 3 minute song is talent, please do not vote. If you feel offended here is why I'm saying it. "Bring It" is a good song successful wise, if you think bout it talent wise... well there was no talent. On top of that you had Bunji Garlin remixing it making it sound like garbage by saying "you could bring it in a glass" with an accent that sounds like he should play a character in a Madagascar movie.

If you suggest Sundar Popo or Kanchan, your mom will be raped and your car will be stolen. No reason to drive a car when you can't read.

If you suggest those 3 names I would like it if you please leave your address at the bottom of your post and I will be at your house within a period of 5-10 minutes that you had posted. Thank You.

To those of you that don't violate the *WARNING* I thank you as well.

Terry Gajraj Has taken his guyanese people a far way with his music and presence in this industry. Same With The Yankaran Brothers So I Guess it would come down to that...Overall though my honest vote would go to Terry for his work in the industry and his connection with his people

Even if sunder popo and kanchan were on the poll, anand yankaran would still own their asses. you said to focus on the next generation, 'the people that got passed the ''torch'' and helped kept it lit' but what the ****? what generation do you consider anand yankaran apart of? correct me if i'm wrong but that man been out before kanchan learned to sing. you're talking about raping peoples mothers and stealing peoples car for mis-judging chutney music by the wrong chutney artists but i think your mom should be raped and your car should be stolen for comparing anand yankaran and sonny man to RAVI B! ADESH ****ING SAMAROO! D'HITMAN and oh my god, TERRY GAJRAJ! you tried too hard to be civilized and professional in this thread shady but you still look like an idiot. you shouldn't even rate chutney music my friend.

P.S. notice everybody voted for either of the yankaran brothers. proved my point.

LOL bai terry got my vote :p... But yes i did but the Yankaran Family up there along with my opinion just for how dominate and how long they've been here.

The Reason I Think terry belong up there is that i see him as the only one holding down the guyanese people in the chutney industry(as if they care)... As for Queen Yasmin look at what she has come to...

well, i chose sonny man because im listening to one of his songs right now so yeh lmao. it was difficult, but i would definitely not vote for ravi b. his music is alright so far, but he cannot be judged yet since he hasnt been out long enough. i like the yankaran brothers too, but i cannot choose between the two.

I am guyanese and I am a chutney FANATIC.
I give kudos to what terry has done, but he is NOT as talented as people think. His music is not HIS music. He sings other people's songs.
Rakesh is amazing, but of the brothers, I would have to say Anand is the master. Anand Yankaran has so much talent. Listen to his songs, from Nanda Baba to Jo Jo. Absolutely amazing in his abililties. I remember when Zindabad Trinbago came out. I still have my LP of that. He sings chutney but mixes a little classical in there. He's got the most talent. His brother gives him a run for it with the success he's had, but I think Anand is the man. (If Ramdew was in this, I would've given it to him though) Rooplall deserved some consideration too. He's quite talented

This is a very bad poll...like Sonny Mann..R.I.P....with all the respect for that man...he belongs to the older chutney artists....he doesn't even belongs in dis list...da man gone...he not bringing new chunes out...

Rakesh Yankaran will do...da man still in d race...coz he bringing new chunes out...i haven't heard Anand Yankaran inna while...but he good too when it comes to classical chutney...search on youtube for him..

Terry Gajraj....hmmm he does sing chutney once inna while..not all d time...like his last album...all crossovers...1 chutney chune?

Ravi Bissambhar, Neeshan '' Hitman '' Prabhoo...dey more into d soca chutney rite now...

Adesh Samaroo...i tink d man had his time..he hasn't been active since d accident..

What also bother's me is...these are all male artists...what happened to d female artists?

Like Drupatee Ramgoonai, Molly Ramcharan, Rasika Dindial, Hemlatha Dindial, Devika Ram, Sally Sagram ....and other male artists who still been active Devanand Gattoo, Rooplal Girdharie, Omardath Maharaj...we also had Vedesh Sookoo....and dis upcoming artist...Shiva Lakhan
