Are there any users who use Rekordbox? Have you had any issues with songs drifting off BPM/Tempo?

Example, I am having trouble beat matching Johnny Osbourne - Rock with you and Cocoa Tea - No Threat from the hot milk riddim but for some reason, it keeps drifting of beat and requires a constant nudging. I even tried the outlawed "sync" button and same thing happens

I have been reading about grid mapping but doesnt seem to work either

ALSO - do you know why when analyzing songs, some songs from the same riddim, that some have different BPMs? Again, using the showtime riddim, I dont know why some analyze at 79 BPM and others at 90 or 100 bpm. Listening to the songs by ear, they sound similar in tempo and speed and even if you use the outlawed "sync" option, either the 79 or 100 beat will lower or raise in BPM.

Thoughts? Anyone have any tips and tricks on how RB?

BTW - i am not a pro, just a bedroom/basement/have fun/play songs for me that I like kinda guy. Hardware used, either the DDJ400 or DDj 800

    Thanks!

Hi. I use Rekordbox and yes there is the "EDIT BEAT GRID" function when you EDIT your tracks in the PREPARE area of the software. Its a great software to use for music that drifts off in tempo. You must learn the craft and then you will get the results. Practice. Hope this helps you.
