What makes a DJ a Good DJ

Im more for a dj that can read a crowd, set the vibe

 

Being versitile and not playing what you want to hear but what the crowd wants to hear. Being a good deejay is knowing how to keep the party going and the dance floor moving. Having all the songs is one thing to being a deejay, but knowing how and when to play it is key to being a good deejay.

There's no magic formula for this. Depends on the situation, kind of party, people, music etc...

 

Its all about understanding your crowd and always practice and DO NOT SYNC BEATS!!!

The problem with A LOT of DJ's is that they think they're there to entertain the people, but no one has told them that's NOT the case, you are there to provide the entertainment, the MUSIC is the STAR, NOT YOU... Find out before hand what kind of crowd is coming then give them what they want... Remember, it's not about you, it's about the people.
