    The classic ones will always be special in some way. In the new indian music I miss the "feeling" sometimes.

    You do miss the Lata, Mukesh and the Rafi. You know today new age , new style new voices even new beat. Let's embrace it or else we lose them all.

    Depends on which mood I'm in. For instance I prefer old Indian (slow) music when I'm trying to relax and new Indian (fast) music for when I want to dance.

    While the old gems are still the best, their are quite a few good new songs coming out as well.

    Some new indian songs are good. But nothing is gunna come close to old school originals. They can try all they want but its not happening

    And besides alot of the new indian songs has alot of techno/transe beat n its geting played out really quick

    i like some of the newer music because they come with more of a westernize beat, but then I don't like when some of the singers sound more white than indian. some of our chutney singers now sound more bollywood than the actual bollywood people.

    The new generation remake old songs. If you hear some tunes in the music you can regonize it.
