RULE OF THUMB IN DJING?

    DO you have a rule when djing.. in regards to how long you should play a genre of music b4 switching to another when playing out.

    Watch the crowd, when they start to slow down there should be a change.

    crowd response is always key when mixing music...never mix music to what you think will sound good..always look at the crowd they will help u gauge what they like to hear..

    I agree, you should always feel the crowd's energy. When you see your crowd start losing interest, come in with something strong.
