    Windows 7 is for me very fine working, i just can't work with the windows 8.

    Windows 8.1 uses less memory, and is faster than windows 7 but it take getting use to since there is no start menu. Ignore Windows 8 period. Im one of the few that sort of like what windows 8/ 8.1 was intended to do. The Microsoft Apps can be useful to some people. Really and truly most of the apps(over 95%) that work in Windows 7 works in Windows 8/8.1. You can use windows 8.1 just like windows 7 with some customization. Windows 10 goes back to the more traditional windows feel with influences from windows 8.
