The best one is the Mac. I am using a macbook air right now, and it is really quick and never gets a lag. Besides that the battery goes long on the use.

I think PC is way better than MAC. Apple's line of computers are overpriced and cheaply made. I had the opportunity to open up a MACBOOK PRO and noticed that all the major components are made in China. The hard drive was just mounted on the left under the hand rest and not secure in a hard drive case. The memory were cheap computer chips that are made in China. The Logic Board (Motherboard) has no special components; just very tiny resistors and some cheaply made chips. The 13" version costs $1100, with 4GB (CHEAP) Memory, less than 2GHZ processing speed, 500GB (EXPOSED) HD; but a well made keyboard. For that price I can buy a nice 17" or 15" HD Windows 7 PRO or Windows 8.1 PC with 16GB Intel Ivy Bridge Memory, 2.5GHZ to 3.5GHZ processing speed, a well housed 750GB to 1TB hard drive, full keyboard with numeric pad, Free software to name a few.

you can compare mac with Mercedes, audi or BMW cars, expensive, difficult to repair and parts are expensive and Pc with japan cars toyota, nissan or mitsubishi, low prices, easy to repair and parts are everywhere to find.

A pc is good for gaming and a mac is less likely to get a virus

Depends on what you mean by better. Having a mac is a status symbol really. Those that are seriously into the hardware, the modders, overclockers the gamers, don't really care about macs. You can customize a PC far more and at a cheaper cost. At the same cost you can get or build a more powerful PC than a Mac. In truth modern day Macs basically have PC hardware at their core. There is far more software available for the PC also. The valid selling points i see for the Macs is that they are consistently more stable, the hardware has a lower failure rate and are "less complicated" to set up. Whether this justify their (sometimes absurdly) higher selling price is up for debate. Macs are really for the uncomplicated users that are not into hardware and want less "worries" after buying the unit. You will find Macs in areas where stability is vital eg professional Live DJing, but in areas requiring raw power e.g graphic and video editing, high end gaming, programming, internet servers you will find PCs far more in use
