Video creation software for Mac?

    Looking for a video editing program to replace windows live movie maker. All i want to do is to be able to put an audio track on a picture and make a video.

    I'm not looking to pay for it..if there is a free version of the software then let me know.

    i had it. its so shit. and its way too large of a program for what i need.

    so use iMovie lol I like Final Cut Pro. Once you get used to it its pretty great. But, I prefer video editing on windows (Sony Vegas) overall.

    i actually had it but when my mac effed up i had to format my hard drive. lost all them software and when i went to reinstall using the applications disk...imovie wasnt on there :(
