What did u guys think bout the CD Bump and Wine?

 

da cd soundin hot bai if yuh nah gat am get am

 

i liked the back to back akelahs in this CD and it had some nice tracks

 

just download dis like 10 minutes agoo , still not thru it im not skippin no songs lolz this cd nice so far lol

dat transition on dat akela was badd ,, bad as it mad good lolz

 

same here i download this like 20 min ago but it still downloading i hope it sounds good

they needed 2 chill wit da tassa das about it

 

cd sounds iigh its a lil rough in some spots and if it was mastered better it wouldve been alot hotter, some percussions, tricks, and fx were a lil unnessacary sounded either a lil odd or was just to noisey, but its better then most of the indian mix cds that came out this summer, i actually like this better then any indian mix cd that came out this summer

 

ok, i just want fo know why everytime when a cd release, u guys open a thread about that cd.?!
no bad idea, but i just want fo know, coz i see i some thread, that some of u are talking that the cd could have been better, or that cd was better then this one. can u guys also mix like those guys, who have mixed the cd?
i mean, can u guys mix better then them?

the cd was aii some nice tracks, and yea i have to agree wid the other guys here there are some unnecessary fx etc. overall i guess its an ok cd.

 

Agree all these effects ppl be puttin into these cd's... they gwan like ppl be dancin to the effects and shit... also the cd had some rough transitions and some of the beats on here didnt fit some of the songs...But Comparing this to all the indian/chutney cd's released this summer this has gotta be up there as one of the best one's this summer so far

 

How do you know we cant mix better then them?

 

the point of opening a thread about the cd is so that people can express their views on the cd - not only is it a great place to bring ones opinion forward, its brilliant for up and coming remixers (and even experienced remixers) to see what goes down well with the listeners and what doesnt e.g. how many people here (including myself) thought that the fx's were a touch over the top but aside from that it was a hot cd - one of the better ones of the summer for sure. Anyway, i hope thats answered your question anda

and whether we can or cant mix better than them is not the point - if we could all mix as well as them, then we'd have cd's being released by major record labels.. duh..

I read this thread and decided to check out the CD in question.After looking at the track list I think That I am going to download it.I don't know about all the mixing stuff you guys talk about.i don't have the patience for it but i am going to give my opinion as a listener or as a would be consumer of the product.I think that i have that right, regardless of if I can mix as well as the other guy or not.

 

why not ask these people why they havent got a cd out? Them mixing great it a matter of your own opinion..logically, if you can mix well, you can make money out of it and therefore would have a cd out - why have the talent/patience/ability to 'mix great' but not put out a cd.. sorry i think thats a touch insane..

 

well because you dont make all that money in reality...well if you with a label that is, and most of them probably have jobs and better things to do but mixes for fun iono but back to the cd it was ok lol
