good day. i'm looking to buy a new a laptop online. anyone have any experience with this, or could recommend a reliable site would be appreciated. i live in trinidad so shipping is an issue. i tried world-buy.com but everytime i query about a laptop with customer support the price goes up about 10 minutes after. i have a good idea of what specifications i'm looking for but not too sure of which brand is reliable. any help or advice is welcomed. thanks...

    budget: 600 - 800usd
brand: i did some research and i think lenovo is a good hq brand.
specs: i5 or i7 processor (don't know much about processors but i think i5 & i7 is the latest), more than 500 gigs hard drive, 8 gigs ram,64 bit.
i would mainly use it for deejaying with serato.

i'm more of an alienware user but you can't wrong with the hp pavillions + your budget and specs are right in the range. go with i7 if it's within your budget i5 is fine. ask if you need additional help.

i agree with mastah there, hp is one of my favorite and most reliable brands, i would reccomend it any day, you could browse this site too :http://www.newegg.com/
not sure if they will ship to trinidad, but check and see, this is where i buy most of my parts & they have great customer support.

i would say both of them are pretty good , ive never had eaither brands for a computer but i do have an acer 24' monitor for my pc, and its a pretty good and reliable brand, i have repaired many toshibas in the past and they too seem pretty reliable, i know a freind whose had a acer laptop and he never complained, ive used it and it was pretty good.
