How To fix Xbox 360 red ring

    my friend jus got red ring on his 360. he had it for 5 years. its not a slim. any ideas on how to fix the red ring. he already took the skins off. gimme instructions or a link to on how to fix this thing. thanks

    wrap the 360 in a towel and let it overheat.
    this wont permanently fix it, but it'll let you play until you have to do it again
