Wired and Wireless at Same Time.

  1. I have a wired and wireless internet connection. The wireless is used for internet and the wired is connected to my Xbox.

Now.. I set the wired connection to have a diffrerent subnet and I didn't specify a gateway; that way all internet traffic is forced to my wireless internet connection. All good there.

Problem is.. how can I target an FTP to ignore the wireless connection and send data through to the wired connection.

I have a Linksys BEFSR4 switch and i use FlashFXP.

BTW.. I can solve this problem by disabling the wireless and using the wired for the time being.. but that's really annoying.

Go to control panel then go to network and internet then go to network and sharing center and view the status of your wireless connection and press detail and find out your Default Gateway it should be under IPv4 Default Gateway or IPv4 Default Server. Write that into your internet browser. Your password and user for the ftp should be admin. Just go to the wireless tab and disable the wireless settings

  3. I don't need to conntect to my router.

i want my FTP to ingore my wireless and send data through the wired instead.

disabling the wireless connection is the only thing i can think of right now, since both wireless & wired is using the same ip, right?

  5. No. The wireless router is connected to the internet. The wired one isn't connected to the internet Only thing that's connected to the wired router is my computer and my xbox. I tried doing this with a crossover cable, but the same thing happens.

The 2 routers have a different gateway and subnet. I can keep both of them enabled at the same time, but then there's no way to target separate programs to the wired router.
