    Would be nice if you could go into further detail about it. Maybe a material list/steps on how to do it etc? Just my opinion. But none the less, great mod.

    nice mod, however i think it takes away from the elegant look of the ps3.It looks all colorfull and shit like the wii's blue glowing light. I just found out how to media share wirelessly from wmp to the ps3, now that blew my mind! Gonna soon put ubuntu on it also. If only they came with a mod to play ps2 games, i have like over 50 ps2 games. Anyway nice work and i like that you did a clean job, not like others where wires and shit are hanging out.

    Well certain old models of the ps3 are backwards compatible with ps2 games when they had put in hardware to make it so. I think right now the 40 gig cant do ps2 games at all and the 80 gig works through software emulation.

    dont do it right away,du it wen warrenty done,cu zu have to void your warrenty to open the case and wire it upp

    playstation warranty is 1 year right?
    and can u link me in a pm to where u got ur LEDs

    i put yellowdog on my ps3, i also do media sharing, at one point i was able to control my ps3 from my laptop via remote play like a psp would from anywhere too, but an update to the firmware ****ed it up.
    NES roms on ps3 is also possible, but i havent tried it with the my new firmware yet to see if it still works.

    ill post some tutorials of how to do some lil tricks with ur ps3 later.
